Colorado Springs, CO, May 11, 2021 — The Rocky Mountain Vibes are teaming up with Power Media Group’s KPPF as the official radio broadcast partner for the 2021 season. KPPF will fully broadcast all 48 home games for the Vibes this season. Longtime radio veterans Mike Lewis and George Holden will serve as the official voices of the Vibes this season as they take to the booth at UCHealth Park.

Locally owned KPPF is transforming its format, going from music to news, information and life enhancing programming. The add of sports programming, bringing thousands of fans and families back together, is an important step in bonding with the community the station serves.

KPPF’s Mike Lewis is a long-established and trusted voice in the community with more than 30 years behind the microphone delivering news and information to a loyal audience. George Holden brings more than 20 years in and around sports and radio. The pair will serve the Vibes and the community very well, bringing the games to life over the air in the 2021 season and beyond.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome KPPF as our official broadcast partner for the 2021 season. The Vibes couldn’t be more excited to welcome such a community-oriented organization into the ballpark this season, and we can’t wait for Vibes fans all across Colorado Springs to be able to catch all the action!” – Keith Hodges, Vice President, Rocky Mountain Vibes.

The Rocky Mountain Vibes played their inaugural season in 2019 after spending 30 years as the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. While the 2020 season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vibes were still able to offer fans safe and affordable opportunities to experience the ballpark. Now joining the MLB Partnership Pioneer League, the Vibes will look to the 2021 season as a stepping-stone for continued success for years to come.
